Rust, corrosion and thread-locking compounds can make bolts and nuts difficult to remove. More force is not always the answer: rounded heads, broken studs and damaged surrounding parts often create extra work.

An iDuctor creates an alternating magnetic field in a ferrous part. The fastener itself heats quickly, helping the joint expand and release. There is no open flame, and the operator can stop heating immediately.

Use induction as part of the removal process

Remove dirt where possible, select a coil that closely surrounds the part and apply heat in short, controlled intervals. Penetrating oil should only be used in accordance with its safety instructions and never on a dangerously hot part.

Does induction work on every metal?

It works most effectively on ferromagnetic materials such as steel. Aluminium and many non-ferrous materials do not heat directly in the same way.

Will the surrounding area remain cold?

Heat is concentrated in the selected metal part, but conduction can still warm nearby components. Inspect the area and protect heat-sensitive materials.

Which iDuctor is suitable for seized bolts?

The W1200 covers routine fasteners. The W2000 and W2300 provide more output for larger parts and demanding, frequent work.
